This is a pavilion to honor the 162 years history of the Auraria campus. The design reflects an overlap of the modern and historic architecture of Auraria. The site is the threshold between campus, Residential area, and downtown Denver. Downtown high-rise buildings are located on the northeast of the site, and the northwest side of the site is the campus area. It is a perfect location to bring visitors from different parts of Denver to the site with a light-rail that stops by the site every 15 minutes. Intend of the design is to protect the existing landscape, and habitats of the site by creating a layer between humans and nature.
